about

Ron Bailey- "I loved the sound of ‘Belltown’ as a title and then envisioned a dance called ‘the crawl’, add the sound of the bell on a cymbal, like a warning alarm and the epic began to unfold. As soon as I started singing it Caela jumped on it and nailed it."

Caela Bailey- "This is one of the songs that was written before I was born, but to me it is timeless and can apply to everything happening in the world right now. I felt compelled to sing this one because I believed so much in this message to wake up!"

lyrics

Somebody put the thing in motion - Somebody made a wheel
Somebody felt the fire burnin’ - Somebody made a meal
Somebody felt the magnetism - Somebody called it love
Somebody put their nose to the grindstone - Somebody said enough
Somebody said how much does it take - Somebody said all

-Chorus-
Wham Bam goes the cymbal
Belltown crawl, Belltown crawl, Belltown crawl, Belltown crawl ya’ll

Somebody put a house on a mountain - Somebody made a wall
Somebody said its cool on the inside - Somebody’s got to fall
Somebody cried out “justice”! - Somebody said no
Somebody felt the grip of a hand that wouldn’t let go
Somebody said how much will you take? Somebody said all

-Chorus-

Somebody made a bow and arrow - Somebody made a knife
Somebody made a fast shootin’ rifle - Lot of people lost their lives
Somebody made a far reachin’ canon - Somebody made a bomb
Somebody made a guided missile - Something sure went wrong
Somebody said how much could you lose - Somebody said all

-Chorus-

Sometimes I get so flustered - I wanna scream
Sometimes I get disgusted - with the ways and means
Sometimes I wanna grab my baby - Say baby let’s have a ball
Why don’t we just go downtown - Belltown Crawl
My baby said how much do you want - I want it all
Wham Bam goes the cymbal

-Chorus-
